Follow the Migration

The tour commences with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Kilimanjaro, where you will be greeted and transported to your lodge or hotel in Moshi/Arusha.
















Day 2-4: Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred a short distance to Arusha Airport for a flight to the Manyara airstrip, followed by a road transfer to Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp for a two-night stay. Nestled in a forested valley near the Crater rim, this tented camp is conveniently situated close to the main entrance of the Crater floor, allowing you to be among the first vehicles to enter the next day. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, harbors one of Africa’s most abundant concentrations of large wildlife within its steep walls and is renowned as one of the premier locations to view all of the Big Five lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino in a single setting.
















Day 4-7: Serengeti National Park

A flight from Manyara will take you to the Serengeti and Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp for a three-night stay. This intimate and elegantly designed tented camp, located in three distinct areas within the Serengeti, guarantees exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year and, depending on your visit timing, offers opportunities to witness some of the most remarkable moments of the Wildebeest Migration. You will experience morning and afternoon game drives with expert guides, delving into the heart of the action, and return to a modest yet comfortable camp where you will enjoy home-cooked meals either by candlelight or under the open sky.
















Day 7-10: Serengeti National Park - Maaasai Mara (Kenya)

Today, you will cross the border into Kenya, starting with a flight from the Serengeti to Migori, followed by another flight to Kichwa Tembo, and finally checking in at Sanctuary Olonana for a three-night stay. If you have yet to witness much of the Wildebeest Migration, it is likely because the herds are in this area. Situated on a private stretch of the Mara River, Olonana is ideally positioned for witnessing the most dramatic phase of the Migration—the river crossings—where the migrating herds confront the formidable Nile crocodiles as they traverse from one side to the other. The camp is intimate, offering attentive and personalized service; your sophisticated glass-fronted suite features a terrace overlooking the river and its resident hippos, while the ambient sounds of the Masai Mara enhance the experience.
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the local airstrip for a scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, where you will be greeted and then transported to your pre-arranged city accommodation or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
