The best time to visit Tanzania depends on what you want to see. For the Great Migration in the Serengeti, June–October is ideal. For Kilimanjaro, January–March and June–October offer the best climbing conditions.
Tanzania is one of the safest countries in Africa for tourists. The main national parks and tourist areas are very safe. We always advise following standard travel safety practices.

You do not need to be an elite athlete, but a good level of fitness is important. We recommend training with regular hiking and cardio exercise for at least 3 months before your climb.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Tanzania. You can obtain an e-visa online before travel or a visa on arrival. We recommend applying in advance to avoid delays.
