Safari Overview

Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and less crowded paths to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Starting from the lush rainforests on the western side of the mountain, this route offers a gradual ascent, increasing the chances of successful acclimatization. Over the course of 8 days, trekkers journey through diverse landscapes, including heath and moorland, the stunning Shira Plateau, and the alpine desert, before making the final push to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet). The extended duration allows for a more relaxed pace and additional acclimatization days, making it one of the most successful routes for reaching the summit. The Lemosho Route is ideal for those seeking a unique, beautiful, and rewarding Kilimanjaro experience with stunning panoramic views and a variety of ecosystems.
