Safari Overview :

On 3 days of your safari, you will visit Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Large herds of Elephants will surprise you in Tarangire being accompanied by the largest bird in the world Ostrich, impalas, giraffe and many bird species. Hippo, rhino, and buffalo are the among the many crater residents at Ngorongoro conservation area.

Safari Itinerary :

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Meet your professional Driver Guide in Arusha, and drives into Lake Manyara NP.This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.

Explore the diverse landscapes, from dense forests to open plains. Spot tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and over 400 bird species, including flamingos along the lake’s shores.

Picnic Lunch: Savor a packed lunch in a picturesque spot within the park.

Continue Game Drive: Further explore the park, seeking out the abundant wildlife and enjoying the lush scenery.

Evening:

Transfer to Karatu: After an exciting day, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater and enter this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater is home to a rich concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes.

Explore the diverse habitats, from open grasslands to acacia forests, and spot various animals, including large elephant herds and black rhinos.

Picnic Lunch by the Hippo Pool: Enjoy your lunch near a scenic spot, surrounded by wildlife.

Ascent from the Crater: After an incredible day of wildlife viewing, ascend the crater walls.

Evening:

Return to Karatu: Relax and unwind at your lodge or camp with dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

You will Start your day with breakfast before heading to Tarangire and drive to Tarangire National Park to start enjoy the 1.5-hour drive to the park, known for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds.

Morning to Afternoon Game Drive in Tarangire National Park: Explore the park’s diverse landscapes and spot wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 550 species recorded.

Picnic Lunch: Take a break and enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site within the park.

Final Game Drive: Continue exploring Tarangire, making the most of your last hours on safari.

Evening:

Return to Arusha: After an unforgettable experience, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Drop-off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
